Great Camping Activities, Games and Crafts for Kids and Families!
Here are some great ideas for camping activities. When we go camping we always pack a deck of cards, a bat & ball, a frisbee and a few of the kids handheld games.
Baseball, The Great American GameIt's quite a site to see the kids playing baseball in an open field. It's like a magnet drawing the other kids to come play. To them it is great, staying up late, camping, playing games, eating snacks...man it doesn't get any better! Here are a couple of our favorite camping activities, games.and crafts.Swimming, Snorkeling and Splashing!A favorite spot for us to Swim, Snorkel and Splash is at the KOA campground on Sugerloaf Key. Take a look at some of the fun things this campsite has...and I mean it, this place is fun.Canoeing, Kayaking, and Boat Rentals.Try canoeing the Peace River, or renting a boat down the Keys on Islamorada. If your camping in the Everglades you might want to kayak through the sawgrass...and maybe get a nice picture of an alligator. I myself prefer to stay away from the gator's unless their playing football and I'm watching them on TV. But if you want some ideas, take a look here...Fishing spots.We love to fish when we go camping. We have caught some good size bass, but are still hunting the ellusive "Bubba"!
