The Best Camping Checklist...What should I bring?

Your ready to go camping and way excited to go on your fun family weekend trip. But, you'll need to pack your tent, stove, sleeping bags...and Susie's favorite stuffed animal, Joey's gameboy, Sis's iPod...oh man...how are you supposed to remember all of that?

Prepared folks have their supplies organized and ready to go. It's so much more fun to just go when you want to go! I'll tell you what we do and then point you in the right direction.

We have a standard supplies list or what some will call a check list (or checklist)...however you spell it the supply list will be invaluable to you.

We prepack as much gear as possible using large plastic containers (you can buy these anywhere). For example, we have a container that holds all of our camping-tarps, air mattresses, battery powered pump etc. We place a label (permenant marker) with the contents listed. These items also show up on our master list (we'll go there in a second).
